I am up to nothing much. I am working 2 days a week as an emergency room nurse which can get quite exciting at times. I am mostly home with Avarie though and loving every minute with her (even though getting house work done is a little difficult). I will be going to another hospital in the next month or two to train their nurses on the medication scanning system that recently I trained my unit on. I am a little nervous about that, but oh well.

Derrick

Derrick this week is going through finals week. He has a final Monday the 28th, Tuesday the 29th and Thursday the 1st. Yikes!! He is still working at the physical therapy clinic as an aide and loving working with the physical therapist and waiting for the day the he can be the therapist. He has one more year here at weber and will be applying for the physical therapy program at the U this June. Everyone cross your fingers that he gets in!!!

Avarie's updates

At Avarie's last Doctors visit She weighed 14 lbs 15 oz and was 26 1/2 inches long. She is growning like a weed!!!! She has been currently eating rice cereal and the oatmeal cereal that is like the rice. Every time she eats cereal, as she is swallowing, she makes MMMM noises. Its hilarious!!!

She is 4 months and 3 weeks old on Sunday.

Avarie in the past week has been holding her own bottle, pushing up on her hands while she is on her stomach and rolling to her side (she has rolled from her back to her stomach once, but did not like it, so she hasn't done it since.
